I joined school on a chilly morning of 16th Jan 1968. Our train arrived at 3.00 AM in the morning and we all lit fire to keep us warm in the front yard of school guest room. After medical school numbers were allotted by the head Clark. the Principal said “I have 500 children” in reassurance to all the parents saying good bye to their wards before leaving. The journey began and we grew up under the aegis of brilliant teachers.
